The image seen through monoculars appear in their correct orientation through the use of two prisms, whereas in most telescopes the images are inverted. Hunting binoculars are a highly important accessory to any hunter's arsenal.
Binoculars have two specifications marked on the body of the binocular in the form of 7x 50, where the first number represents the magnification, in this case 7 times, and the second the aperture ,50mm in this case. The most advanced binocular lens cloths are made of microfibre. Fortunately, the new weatherproof binoculars are fit for rough use.
Size matters when one considers the mode of birding. Costlier monoculars with 30x or greater magnifications are made of better prisms and lenses. All things you see through a night binocular appear green, because you don't look directly at the objects but at their image on a phosphor screen.
You may not be planning on getting them wet, but things happen; you might trip and drop them in a mud puddle, take them out on a foggy day, or you might get caught in a freak rain shower. So, get out there.
